Education & Learning for Resilience

Focus: Improving access to safe, inclusive, and quality learning for children affected by crisis.

SFS supports out-of-school and crisis-affected children to access and remain in education through inclusive and flexible learning pathways. This includes accelerated and alternative education programmes, Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approaches to improve learning outcomes, and the creation of safe, child-friendly school environments. SFS works closely with communities to strengthen Community Education Committees (CECs) and delivers Education in Emergencies (EiE) interventions in displacement- and shock-affected contexts, with particular attention to children with disabilities and marginalized groups.
